Towpath Half Marathon
The opening race of the Towpath Trilogy
We know you’ve been training hard and looking forward to this spring tradition on the Towpath Trail. Your health and safety as well as those of the volunteers, spectators, and the community at large is our utmost concern. As we did with the Towpath Marathon in October, we will be following the guidance from both state and federal agencies on the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as well as the CDC’s guidelines covering events of this nature.
As a small non-profit, this event is a fundraiser that allows Canalway Partners to continue to build and advocate for the Towpath Trail, its feeder trails, and park amenities. Whether this is your first event with us, or you take part in the Towpath Trilogy every year, know that you are supporting those developments with your race entry.

Bib Mail Out Deadline: March 24, 2021 (midnight)
Mail and Fax Registration Deadline: Received by Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
Online Registration Deadline: April 9, 2021 (6 p.m.)

Sorry, but all entries are non-refundable. Once we’ve received and processed your entry, you will not receive a refund, you may not give or sell your race number to other people, and entry fees are not transferable to the next year’s race or any other race.
If the 2021 in-person events are canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all participants will be automatically converted to the virtual event. While we look forward to the return to live racing in 2021, a virtual option will be available for both 5 mile and Half-Marathon races. This race will not be postponed to a future date.
You are able to transfer your entry to another person for a fee of $10.00. This can be done at any of the packet pickups prior to race day. There will be NO transfers on race day!
To complete a Transfer, go to your profile on Runsignup and chose either the refund transfer or gift transfer option. Enter in the Transferee’s name and email to send them the transferring registration. Once the transferee completes the registration, the original registrant is removed from the race.
- Refund Transfers: Transferee pays the current price of the registration. The original registrant pays a $10 transfer fee
- Gift Transfer: Transferee’s registration is free. The original registrant pays a $10 transfer fee.
